The HUAWEI GT5 smartwatch features a sleek geometric design with a durable black fluoroelastomer strap and is water-resistant, making it suitable for shallow water activities like swimming in a pool or along the coast. After water activities, it's important to clean and dry the device promptly, removing water stains and using the drainage feature to maintain performance.

However, the device should not be worn in high-temperature or high-humidity environments such as hot showers, hot springs, saunas, or steam rooms, or during activities involving shower gel, shampoo, or cleaning products. It is also not recommended for free diving, scuba diving, or any deep-water activities. Additionally, straps made from composite vegan leather, composite woven, titanium, and ceramic are not designed for water use.

The HUAWEI GT5 offers up to 14 days of battery life for maximum usage, 9 days for regular usage, and 5 days with Always On Display enabled. It supports Bluetooth 2.4 GHz, BT5.2, and BR + BLE for seamless connectivity.
